As I looked through the lens of my camera during my recent family photo session, I was struck by the beauty of the Filoli Gardens in Woodside, California. The vibrant flowers blended perfectly with the impressive brick architecture, creating an almost ethereal atmosphere – truly a Secret Garden vibe! But, as a photographer, I know that there’s something deeper to it than just capturing a beautiful scene.

Thinking back on Leona and Tim’s engagement session at Balboa Park in San Diego, I am struck by the profound emotions and experiences that photography can bring. It’s hard to describe the feeling of capturing the perfect moment – the golden light illuminating a couple in love, the raw emotion of a candid shot, and the joy and excitement that comes with exploring a new location with a camera in hand!

As I stood on the edge of the cliffside in Painters Point, camera in hand, I couldn’t help but be struck by the incredible sunset before me. The sky was painted in hues of pink, orange, and purple, creating an otherworldly landscape that seemed to exist only in a dream.
